KAHUKU, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii women's cross country finished fourth in the Big Wave Invitational Saturday morning at the Kahuku Golf Course.
The Seasiders placed fourth overall with 91 total points. University of Central Florida dominated the race and came in first with 23 points, followed by University of Hawaii Manoa with 37 and Hawaii Pacific with 70.
Horrocks was the only Seasider to place in the top-10 with a time of 19:35 to finish 10th. Olivia Rivera was the next runner to cross the line for BYU-Hawaii with a time of 20:06 and a 17th place rank. Lindi Young and Amanda Turnbull Hooke finished consecutively with times of 20:20 and 20:23 in 20th and 21st places, respectively.
The Seasiders will compete at Hilo next Saturday at 8:15 a.m. HST.
