PENSACOLA, Fla. - No. 3 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis finished their road trip with a 5-0 sweep over Christian Brothers University on Saturday morning.
The Seasiders (25-1) No. 10 Marietta Tuionetoa opened with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Christian Brother's University Carley Lane on the first singles court. Jeong-Min Jeon, Kanela Adamson, and Chiung-en (JoJo) also recorded perfect 6-0, 6-0 wins of their Christian University opponents. Jade Griffin recorded a 6-1, 6-0 victory on the third singles court to give the Seasiders the needed five points to end the match.
The rest of the doubles matches and a singles match were not played with the victory in hand.
BYU-Hawaii will return to Oahu for its final two matches of the season beginning with a match at Chaminade on Wednesday at 10 a.m. HST.
