Lady Seasiders set to battle Silverswords

LAIE, Hawaii - BYU-Hawaii women's soccer looks to maintain momentum heading into conference play with a non-conference game against Chaminade on Tuesday at 3 p.m. HST.


  • BYU-Hawaii earned its first decision of the year in a 1-1 tie with Hawaii Pacific on Saturday.
  • Brena Jarvis Love scored the lone goal for the Seasiders on Saturday in a 1-1 draw.
  • Camille Jones had a strong outing not allowing a goal in her 65 minutes of play.
  • Last season, BYU-Hawaii defeated Chaminade 3-0 with goals from Kala Brundige, Ansley Warner and Tiffani Rice.


  • Chaminade started the 2016-17 campaign with a 2-0 loss in its first game of the season against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
  • The Silverswords are led by Michelle Richardson in her fourth year as the head coach. She has accumulated a 5-42-1 record in the previous three seasons.
  • The Silverswords were picked to finish last in the PacWest Preseason poll for the 2016 campaign.
  • The Silverswords return 100 percent of their offensive production with Lauren Uehara and Kelli Fryxell.
