KAHUKU, Hawaii – Inoka Kahawaii finished 3 under par to lead BYU-Hawaii men's golf in the BYUH Tri-Match tournament at the Turtle Bay Fazio and Palmer Courses on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Seasiders finished first with a 1-over-par 577 in the 36-hole competition. Chaminade finished second with a 29-over 605, while Hawaii Pacific University finished third with a 51-over 627.
BYU-Hawaii shot its best round ever as a team on the Fazio Course on Tuesday finishing with a 13-under 275. Kahawaii, Riley Bunker, Nicolas Herrera and Federico Clausen all finished under par on the day. Bunker had the best day finishing 5 under par.
Kahawaii was the only Seasider under par on Wednesday finishing with a 1-under 71.
BYU-Hawaii will play next in the Chaminade Tri-Match at the Olomana Golf Course and the Hawaii Prince Golf Club.
