KEA'AU, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii women's cross country took eighth at the PacWest Championships Saturday morning at Kamehameha Schools.
BYU-Hawaii recorded a team total of 217 points while California Baptist who took first place accumulated a mere 23.
Jessica Horrocks led the Seasiders by placing 21st overall with a time of 25:27. Amanda Turnbull was the next Seasider to cross the line taking 38th in 26:24. Olivia Rivera finished next in 51st place with a time of 27:32. Alyssa Odom, Breann Howell, and Mackenzie Martinez finished within seconds of each other, in 53rd (27:45), 54th (27:49), and 55th (27:50) places respectively. Madison Hurley was BYU-Hawaii's remaining runner who finished 75th in 31:19.
This race concluded BYU-Hawaii's regular season. Those who qualify will compete at the NCAA West regional meet Saturday November 5.
