HONOLULU – Jessica Horrocks took second as BYU-Hawaii women's cross country finished second place Saturday morning at the Sand Island State Park.
The Seasiders took second place with 49 points overall, following Hawaii Pacific who finished first with 19 points. Hawaii-Hilo took third with 140 points while Chaminade with 143 took fourth.
Horrocks took second with a time of 19:14, coming behind Hawaii Pacific's Kimberly Carter who finished first with a time of 18:57. Olivia Rivera was the next Seasider to finish with a time of 19:54 in eighth place.
BYU-Hawaii will be back in action on October 22 for the PacWest Conference championships in Hilo, Hawaii.
