RIVERSIDE, Calif. – BYU-Hawaii women's cross country finished eighth in the PacWest Conference Championships 6k race this Saturday in Riverside.
Cal Baptist took first in conference with an accumulation of 44 points and Azusa Pacific came in second with 66. Point Loma and Academy of Art took third and fourth with 89 and 116 points. The Seasiders accumulated 221 team points.
Junior Jessica Horrocks led the Seasiders, finishing 39th with a time of 23:33 and an average mile in 6:19. Olivia Rivera was the next of BYU-Hawaii's runners to cross the line in 23:56 to finish 43rd. Lindi Young and Julia Taylor came in 47th and 51st with times of 24:06 and 24:21, respectively. Freshman Jolie Nelson came in 56th with a time of 24:33.
