Women's cross country wraps up 2014 season

BILLINGS, Mont. – BYU-Hawaii women's cross country finished 19th in the NCAA West Regionals on Saturday.

The top five consisted of Simon Fraser, Chico State, Alaska Anchorage, UC San Diego, and Central Washington. Unfortunately BYU-Hawaii will not be continuing to nationals.

The first runner from the Seasiders to cross the finish line was Haley Olcott placing 93rd with a time of 23.40.58.  Not far behind was Jessica Horrocks placing 100th with a time of 23.50.54. 

Next up for BYU-Hawaii was Amanda Turnbull placing 127th with a time of 24.29.54 and Malacie Jorgenson finished 132nd with a time of 24.37.96

Following Jorgenson was Kami Dixon placing 138th with a time of 24.55.42 and last for BYU-Hawaii was Casey Carpenter placing 152nd with a time of 25.44.41.
