The Seasiders finished second in the team standings with 35 points trailing Hawaii Pacific by 10 points. Horrocks finished the 5K in 19:15 to take fourth, while Olcott was right behind her with a time 19:16.
Julia Taylor was the next Seasider to cross the finish line at the 19:47 mark to place seventh. Kami Dixon, Amanda Turnbull and Malacie Jorgenson finished ninth, 10th and 11th for BYU-Hawaii. Breann Howell was the last runner for the Seasiders with a scoring place finishing 15th with a time of 20:44.
BYU-Hawaii will enjoy two full weeks of rest before hosting the Chaminade Invitational on Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. HST between the soccer and softball fields.
