Three Seasiders place in the top ten on way to second place finish

KANEOHE, Hawaii – Haley Olcott, Julia Taylor and Jessica Horrocks all finished in the top ten to help BYU-Hawaii women's cross country team to a second place finish at the Big Wave Invitaional on Saturday.

Olcott was the first runner across for the Seasiders for the second week in a row finishing seventh in the 5K in 19:47.70. Taylor was right behind her finishing with a time 19:51.20, while Horrocks has a half second behind ninth place with a time of 20:00.50.

BYU-Hawaii finished with 46 points behind Alaska Anchorage's 21 points. Kami Dixon (12th), Breann Howell (14th), Alyse Nelson (16th) and Amanda Turnbull (18th) all scored points for the Seasiders.

BYU-Hawaii will have a week off before hosting the BYUH Invitational on Sept. 20 in Laie, Hawaii.
