NOVATO, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2013) - The BYU-Hawaii women's cross country team took fourth at the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
Kami Dixon took the top spot for the Seasiders with a 5K finish in 18:33.3 for 14th overall. She earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the finish.
BYU-Hawaii finished with a team score of 141, edging out Dixie State's 154 and Point Loma's 164 who were close behind. Azusa Pacific took first with 34 points and Hawaii Pacific and Cal Baptist finished second and third with 45 and 51 points, respectively. Thirteen teams went head-to-head in the race in California.
Madeleine Westman had a personal best 19:00.6 to take 28th as the remaining Seasiders finished in a pack together.
