BYU-Hawaii moves up to No. 4 in AVCA poll

LAIE, Hawaii (Sept. 16, 2013) – After a 5-0 start the BYU-Hawaii women's volleyball has moved up to No. 4 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Poll released Monday.

The Seasiders moved up one spot after two weeks of the season and garnered two first-place votes.

Minnesota-Duluth took the No. 1 spot, Concordia-St. Paul came in No. 2, Tampa as the No. 3 team and Nebraska-Kearny in the No. 5 position to round out the nation's top five teams.

BYU-Hawaii begins Pacific West Conference play on Friday and Saturday with matches against Chaminade and Hawaii-Hilo. Conference foe Fresno Pacific is No. 12.
