Seasiders sweep Silverswords

LAIE, Hawaii – No. 1 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis swept Chaminade 9-0 Friday at the BYU-Hawaii Tennis Courts to move to 23-0 on the season.

No. 13 Min (Karen) Liu and Leah Heimuli took an 8-0 decision on the first doubles court, while Michelle Li Sha Khoo and Jeong-Min Jeon won an 8-0 match of their own on the second court. Hailey Daniels and McKenna Lloyd paired for an 8-2 win over Hannah Parker and Kim Spring of Chaminade (1-14).

Khoo, Jeon and Daniels each had 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in singles over their Silversword opponents. No. 11 Xin (Summer) Wen won 6-0, 6-1 on court one over Elyssa Shirai and Lloyd added a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Spring on court five. Heimuli rounded out singles play with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Cai Fang on the second court.

The Seasiders will finish its regular season against No. 5 Hawaii Pacific Tuesday at 2 p.m. HST at the BYU-Hawaii Tennis Courts.
