Seasiders sweep Bulldogs

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – No. 1 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis moved to 18-0 on the season with a 6-0 sweep of Alabama A&M Saturday afternoon.

No. 1 Nannan Zhang started things off for the Seasiders defeating Alabama's A&M's (1-12) Virag Hollos 6-1, 6-0 and in the second court, No. 2 Min Liu took the 6-1, 6-1 victory over Beatriz Guiterrez.

No. 11 Xin Wen overtook Rida Khalid 6-1, 6-1. Leah Hemuli beat Shrarre Smith 6-2, 6-2 to give the Seasiders the 4-0 lead. Michelle Li Sha Khoo won 6-1, 6-3 in the fifth court and Jeong-Min Jeon double bageled against her opponent to give BYU-Hawaii the 6-0, 6-0 sweep.

The Seasiders continue their southeast trip facing No. 7 Columbus State on Monday at 1 p.m. EDT.
