LAIE, Hawaii – No. 2 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis moved to 13-0 with a 9-0 sweep of Hawaii Hilo Tuesday at BYU-Hawaii tennis courts.
All three Seasider doubles teams beat their Hilo (3-9) competitors 8-1 and finished within five minutes of each other to take the 3-0 lead. The bottom three courts finished nearly simultaneously for BYU-Hawaii. Leah Heimuli took court four 6-0, 6-0, while Michelle Li Sha Khoo and Jeong-Min Jeon won their matches 6-1, 6-0 on courts five and six respectively.
No. 4 Min (Karen) Liu added a 6-2, 6-0 win on court three and Xin (Summer) Wen took a 6-0, 6-0 victory in No. 2 singles for the Seasiders. No. 2 Nannan (Dallas) Zhang completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Daniela Sanz Caseli on the top court.
