Seasiders hold court against Royals

LA HABRA, Calif. – No. 2 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis delivered a dominating win Friday over Hope International University at La Habra Tennis Center.

All three doubles teams delivered 8-0 victories to get the Seasiders (8-0) started strong. McKenna Lloyd led off singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 win and Jeong-Min Jeon and Leah Heimuli were close behind with 6-0, 6-0 victories of their own.

Xin (Summer) Wen delivered a 6-1, 6-0 win her first match of the season at No. 1 singles, while Min (Karen) Liu and Michelle Li Sha Khoo each won 6-0, 6-1 over their Royal (0-5) counterparts.

BYU-Hawaii will take on No. 25 Azusa Pacific tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. PST at the Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex.
