Seasiders too much for Cal State Stanislaus

TURLOCK, Calif. (April 3, 2014) - Winning its third match in as many days, the No. 3 BYU-Hawaii women's tennis team downed Cal State Stanislaus 9-0 on Thursday afternoon.

BYU-Hawaii (19-0) cruised on the day with No. 1 doubles featuring Sasha Ulbrichtova and Jin Jin (Leah) Han won 8-5 in the closest matchup of the day.

No. 2's Kanela Adamson and Jeong-Min Jeon and No. 3's Min (Karen) Liu and Jade Griffin topped both their opponents by a score of 8-0.

In singles, the Seasiders won in straight sets across the board.

No. 16 ranked Liu swept the matchup 6-0, 6-0 in first singles and No. 23 Marietta Tuionetoa won 6-1, 6-3 in second singles.

Han won No. 3's 6-1, 6-1 and Adamson took the fourth spot 6-2, 6-1. Jeon won No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-1 and Griffin took the sixth position matchup 6-1, 6-0.

BYU-Hawaii will be at Academy of Art tomorrow.
