LAIE, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii women's soccer will take on Hawaii Pacific University for a conference matchup at 3 p.m. HST at Waipio Soccer Complex Field 5.
BYU-Hawaii is currently ranked eighth in the PacWest with a conference record of 2-2. Hawaii Pacific has a 2-1 record, putting them at sixth.
The last time the teams played each other in a nonconference game, it ended in a 1-1 tie. Brena Jarvis Love was responsible for the Seasider's goal while Sara Romo scored for the Sharks. Hawaii Pacific had two shots on goal and BYU-Hawaii finished with three shots on goal.
This will be BYU-Hawaii's second conference match after it returned 1-2 from road trip in California. Most recently, they beat Chaminade 1-0 with a goal from Eddy. Goalkeeper Jaylie Jensen recorded her first win on a shutout, blocking the Silverswords' only shot on goal.
Hawaii Pacific most recently played Hawai'i Hilo, which resulted in a 2-1 victory, Romo scoring both of the Sharks' goals.
