Season outlook for Seasider women's soccer

LAIE, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii women's soccer team enters the 2016 season selected to finish ninth in the PacWest Conference's preseason poll.

Head Coach Dan Dummar believes that they can achieve "nothing short of winning the PacWest conference and getting as deep as they can in the NCAA tournament."

Kala Brundige, Kristine Reynolds and Rebecca McCarthy are three of the returners that have stood out to coach in the preseason after scoring three goals in a scrimmage with Tusculum.

In terms of new recruits, Dummar is impressed by the skills of Mackenzie Moore as well as Sydney Eddy and Mackenzie Bean coming out of the preseason.

Even with only 10 returning players and 16 new ones, Dummar says the team has developed great chemistry and have really taken off as a team.
