LAIE, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii's Camille Jones was named to the Outrigger Soccer Classic All-Tournament team with 19 saves over two days.
In an all NCAA Division I tournament, the Seasider keeper was able to get her hands on the ball nine times in Thursday's game against Idaho State before stopping 10 shots by Sacramento State on Saturday.
Although Idaho State challenged her with several corner kicks, Jones was able to keep a clean net during regulation time until a penalty kick in overtime escaped her gloves. Jones kept Sacramento State shut out in regulation as well, and made her 10th save of the night in overtime before allowing one past her.
The 5-foot-2-inch sophomore from Utah proves to be an essential part of BYU-Hawaii's team and looks to continue her defensive strength this season.
