BYU-Hawaii unable to match CSU-LA's offensive pressure

HILO, Hawaii – Makenna Seymour had a fantastic game witheight saves, but CSU-LA's constant pressure gave them a 2-1 victory Saturday afternoon in Hilo.

After being outshot 9-0 in the first half, Brittney Dyer connected with Tess Hobbs for the game's first goal in the 46th minute.

For the second game in a row, the Seasiders (0-2-0) faltered during a brief stretch beginning in the 70th minute. The Golden Eagles (2-0-0) capitalized with goals in the 70th and 72nd minutes to take a lead that they would not relinquish.

BYU-Hawaii returns home for a game against Western Oregon on Tuesday at 3 p.m. HST on the soccer field at BYU-Hawaii.
