Six Seasiders named to All-PacWest Women's Soccer Team

PHOENIX (Nov. 21, 2013) - The Pacific West Conference released the 2013 All-PacWest Women's Soccer Team and BYU-Hawaii was represented with six players including Brittney Crump, Kailee Kartchner, Sarah Bodily, Korral Koehler, McKenzie Evans, and Megan McCain.

McCain received an honorable mention for the All-PacWest goalkeepers. Megan had 55 saves on the year, averaging 3.67 save a game. She ranks fourth in goals against average (0.77) and fourth in save percentage (.821) in the PacWest, while she is tied for the most shutouts in the league with nine. McCain was an honorable mention in 2011 and the Goalie of the Year as a freshman.

Bodily received All-PacWest defensive third team. Sarah had two goals and one assist on the season and helped contribute to nine shutouts (second in the conference). The Seasider defense was ranked second in the conference for fewest goals allowed. Koehler, an honorable mention, was a strong defensive presence on the Seasiders, who won their final eight matches in a row.

Evans also earned third team honors at the forward position. Evans finished the year with seven points on three goals and an assist. She scored one game-winner. Crump earned honorable mention with one goal and an assist on the season.

At the midfield, Kailee Kartchner picked up an honorable mention. Kartchner also had a game-winning goal and assist in 2013.
