Women go for eighth straight at Hilo

LAIE, Hawaii (Nov. 8, 2013) The BYU-Hawaii women's soccer team looks to extend its winning streak to eight as the team heads to Hilo to take on the Vulcans Saturday.

BYU-Hawaii (8-4-2, 7-3-1) has been hot in the last seven matches both on the road and at home.

The Seasiders faced off against the Vulcans at the beginning of the season twice. The first match resulted in a 1-0 Hilo victory and the second match a tie.

This time BYU-Hawaii will be looking to take down a regionally ranked Hilo squad that has been playing well.

UH Hilo (10-3-2, 7-3-1) recently defeated Academy of Art University 1-0. Both teams are tied in conference play and will be looking to pick up one more win to help them get into the postseason.

The Seasiders take on the Vulcans in Hilo, Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
