2-0 victory for fifth straight win

LAIE, Hawaii (Oct. 28, 2013) - The BYU-Hawaii women's soccer team won its fifth match in a row with a 2-0 victory over Academy of Art on Monday afternoon.

The Seasiders (6-4-2, 5-3-1) got its first goal with a little help from the visiting Urban Knights (3-11-1, 2-6-1).

Brittney Crump sent a shot on goal that was saved by Academy of Art's keeper. The keeper then dropped the ball past the line barely into the goal to give BYU-Hawaii a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute.

In the second half, McKenzie Evans picked up some insurance with a goal in the 86th minute. Emily Barfus sent her a pass and Evans turned it into a goal to make it 2-0.

Up next, the Seasiders are home on Saturday, Nov. 2 to face Holy Names at 12:30 p.m.
