LAIE, Hawaii (Aug. 31, 2013) – After a scoreless first half the BYU-Hawaii women's soccer team finally got a shot into the back of the net when Brittany Dyer scored to lead the Seasiders over Chaminade 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
"I was very proud with the way the girls played," head coach Alex Ruegner. "We are doing everything we need to do defensively and offensively we just need to get more shots to go in."
The Seasiders again dominated the possession and the defense held the Silver Swords in check all game.
With control of the ball early in the second half, Annie Warren connected with Dyer for the lone score. The team got several shots on goal for the day but Dyer's score was just enough.
