Tatupu-Leopoldo earns Final 5 for big week

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2014) - Two-sport athlete Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo earned a Final 5 women's basketball honor from the Pacific West Conference.

Tatupu-Leopoldo lit up the scoreboard for the Seasiders, averaging 22.0 points per game on 56.8 percent shooting (21-37) from the field and 61.7 percent shooting (11-17) from 3-point range during games played Jan. 20-26.

Her 11 three-pointers were the most by a PacWest player on the week.

She scored a season-high 29 points, making four 3-pointers and seven free throws, against Notre Dame de Namur.

Tatupu-Leopoldo was also a member of the BYU-Hawaii women's volleyball team in the fall.
