Women's team tips off season with 3-game homestand

LAIE, Hawaii (Nov. 13, 2013) - The BYU-Hawaii women's basketball team opens the season on Friday, Nov. 15 and welcomes two Alaskan teams for three games in the Cannon Activities Center.

The Seasiders host the University of Alaska Fairbanks on Friday at 7 p.m. HT. On Saturday, Nov. 16 BYU-Hawaii will play the University of Alaska Anchorage at 7 p.m. HT and again on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. HT.

New head coach Craig Stanger takes the helm of the Seasider program. Stanger brings over two decades of coaching experience to the team and will make an immediate impact.

Two-sport athlete Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo was named Preseason All-PacWest but several new faces will make their mark on the new campaign.

The three game homestand begins the 2013-14 regular season.
