Tatupu-Leopoldo a Preseason All-PacWest selection

PHOENIX (Nov. 7, 2013) - Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo has been named a member of the 2013-14 Preseason All-Pacific West Conference women's basketball team.

Tatupu-Leopoldo played in 18 games for the Seasiders last year and averaged 16.7 points overall and an even better 17.3 ppg mark in conference play. She also averaged 5.4 rebounds in PacWest play with 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals.

She led the conference in 3-point field goals made in league play with 54 and was top 10 in the conference in five different categories during the PacWest season.

The two-sport athlete is currently playing for the No. 4 ranked women's volleyball team.

The Seasiders were picked to finish ninth in the PacWest, tied with Notre Dame de Namur. Azusa Pacific was selected to win the league again. Azusa Pacific's Kelly Hardeman has been tabbed the Preseason Player of the Year in a vote by the women's basketball coaches of the Pacific West Conference.
