Talataina named First Team All-PacWest

LAIE, Hawaii – Lizabelle Talataina was named First Team All-PacWest as selected by coaches this week.

This was the second honor for Talataina who was a third team selection as a freshman. Talataina finished the regular season ranked 25th nationally with 0.36 doubles per game. She is fourth in the conference with a .410 batting average and No. 82 nationally. She hit five home runs and had 26 RBI to lead BYU-Hawaii to 13 wins this past season.

Talataina is third in the conference with a .504 on base percentage and a .710 slugging percentage, nationally ranked 44th and 54th respectively. She was a perfect 11 for 11 on stolen base attempts this season. Talataina is also a fantastic student and was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 performer.
