Seasiders take first to finish regular season

HONOLULU – Max Moncour led BYU-Hawaii men's cross country to first place finish Saturday at Sand Island State Park.

BYU-Hawaii finished in first place with a total of ­­­­19 points. Hawaii Pacific took second with 47 while Chaminade came in third with 71.

Moncur took first for the fifth consecutive meet with a time of 27:00. Isaac Stinchfield followed in second with a time of 27:43 while Jackson Oliver's time of 28:02 earned him third.

Philip Herrera placed fifth in 28:46. Evan Marrow and Boston Wood finished eighth and ninth with times of 29:10 and 29:17.

BYU-Hawaii will be back in action on October 22 for the PacWest Conference championships in Hilo, Hawaii.
