HILO, Hawaii - Max Moncur took first for the third consecutive week as BYU-Hawaii men's cross country finished in second place Saturday morning at the Vulcan Invitational.
BYU-Hawaii finished in second place overall with a total of 36 points. Hawaii Pacific took first with 23, Chaminade came in third with 78.
Moncour crossed the finish line in 27:38, followed by Jackson Oliver whose time of 28:25 put him in third. Freshman Boston Wood was the next Seasider to finish with a time of 28:51 to rank eighth, while Philip Herrera's 29:10 earned him 10th place. Dallin Olander (30:11, 13th) Evan Morrow (30:19, 14th) were BYU-Hawaii's remaining runners.
The Seasiders will compete Sept. 24 at 7:45a.m. HST in the HPU Invitational held at Kahuku Golf Course.
