RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Freshman cross-country runner Max Moncur was the first Seasider to finish the PacWest Conference Championship 8k Saturday morning in Riverside, California.
BYU-Hawaii placed 10th overall with an accumulated score of 241. Cal Baptist took first with a total of 38 points, followed by Academy of Art with 63 and Azusa Pacific with 69. Fourth place went to Fresno Pacific with a total of 98 points.
Moncur finished 36th total with a time of 26:23 and an average mile of 5:18. Shortly after him came teammate Carston Feigleson, clocking in at 26:38 to earn him 42nd place. Evan Stolk came in 56th with a time of 27:38 and Philip Herrera finished 59th in 27:52. Freshman Aden Pierce crossed the line 68th in 28:34.
This was the final race of BYU-Hawaii men's cross country's season.
