KAHUKU, Hawaii – Carston Feigleson finished 10th to lead BYU-Hawaii men's cross country to a third place finish at the Hawaii Pacific University Invitational on Saturday morning.
Alaska Anchorage claimed their second-consecutive perfect score of 15 on the islands and placed seven runners in the top 10. Hawaii Pacific finished second with 52 team points and two top-10 finishers. The Seasiders were third with 83 points and Chaminade fourth with a point total of 115.
Feigleson finished with a time of 28:11.8 to lead all BYU-Hawaii runners. Max Moncur was the next Seasider across the finish line with a time of 29:00.9 to place 17th, while Philip Herrera was 20th after finishing in 29:37.5.
Evan Stolk claimed 21st with a time of 29:55.1 and Dallin Olander was 23rd with a time of 30:14.0 to round out the Seasiders top five. Aden Pierce and Taylor Mower finished 24th and 25th finishing in 30:24.0 and 30:24.4 respectively.
BYU-Hawaii will have a week off before hosting their lone home meet of the year on Sept. 26 at 7:30 a.m. HST.
