KAHUKU, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii men's cross country completed their regular season action with a second place finish at the HPU Invitational at the Kahuku Golf Course on Saturday.
Hawaii Pacific took home the top spot with the top four finishers of the invitational on their way to 19 team points. The Seasiders finished second with 38 points.
Kevin Miller (5th, 35:04.75), Thomas Hesselgesser (6th, 35:13.25), Jon Hooke (7th, 35:24.01) and Clayton Kearl (8th, 35:27.84) finished close together for the Seasiders and represented all four top-10 finishers for BYU-Hawaii.
Carston Feigleson was a minute behind them with a time of 36:32.54 to place 13th. Ryan Belliston placed 14th with a time of 37:01.90 and Berkley Lunt was 17th with a time of 38:17.94 to round out the team point qualifiers for the Seasiders.
BYU-Hawaii will begin preparations for the PacWest Championship in two weeks on Nov. 7 in Fresno, California.
