LAIE, Hawaii – Kevin Miller took home the top individual spot and BYU-Hawaii men's cross country finished first as a team at the Chaminade Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Seasiders finished with 46 points, 31 points ahead of second place HPU. Miller crossed the finish line with a time of 25:53 to take first place individually.
Thomas Hesselgesser was the second Seasider across the finish line placing third with a time of 26:18. Clayton Kearl (26:30), Jonathan Hooke (26:38) and Stewart Adair (26:39) finished fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.
BYU-Hawaii will compete next in the HPU Invitational on Oct. 25 in their final tune up before the PacWest Championships.
