Miller and Kearl finish in top five at BYUH Invitational

LAIE, Hawaii – Kevin Miller and Clayton Kearl led BYU-Hawaii men's cross country Saturday morning to a second place finish in the BYUH Invitational.

The Seasiders finished second behind Hawaii Pacific in the team standings with 34 points. Miller finished third with a time of 26:11, while Kearl finished in 26:49 to place fourth. Stewart Adair was the next runner across for BYU-Hawaii placing sixth with a time of 27:02.

TJ Hesselgeiser placed ninth with a time of 27:32 to round out the top ten finishes for the Seasiders.  Jon Hooke and Carston Feigleston finished 12th and 13th with times of 27:53 and 28:04 respectively. Ryan Belliston was the last BYU-Hawaii runner to count towards the team score finishing 15th with a time of 28:21.

The Seasiders have two weeks before their next meet on Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. HST on the BYU-Hawaii campus.
