KANEOHE, Hawaii – Kevin Miller captured his second top ten finish to help the BYU-Hawaii men's cross country team to a second place finish at the Big Wave Invitational.
The Seasiders finished with 50 points trailing Alaska Anchorage once again, who captured the top eight spots of the 5K.
Miller finished with a time of 16:20.50 to place ninth. Teammates Clayton Kearl (11th), TJ Hesselgesser (12th), Jon Hooke (13th) and Charles Adair (14th) finished shortly after Miller. Berkley Hunt (17th), Ryan Belliston (18th) and Carston Feigleson (20th) made it eight Seasiders in the top 20.
BYU-Hawaii will have a week off before hosting the BYUH Invitational on Sept. 20.
