Seasiders wrap up season at NCAA Regional meet

SPOKANE, Wash. (Nov. 9, 2013) - The BYU-Hawaii men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Division II West Regionals on Saturday morning, finishing in 14th overall.

Eighteen different teams competed with Chico State taking the title by capturing the first three individual spots.

Tanner Smith was the first Seasider in. He finished the 10K in a time of 33:34.5 for 55th.

Kevin Miller and Thomas Hesselgesser took 72nd and 79th overall with times of 33:38.4 and 34:10.7 respectively.

Another top 100 finisher, Matthew Belliston finished 91st in 34:31.0.

Rounding out BYU-Hawaii's competitors was Clayton Kearl in 104th in a time of 34:48.7 and Carston Feigleson took 123rd in 36:06.8.
