Miller earns Final 5 honor from PacWest

PHOENIX (Sept. 16, 2013) – After leading the BYU-Hawaii men's cross country team to a first-place finish at the Big Wave Invitational, Kevin Miller was recognized as a Final 5 honoree by the Pacific West Conference on Monday.  

Miller, a junior from Boise and Mountain View High School, covered the 5K course in 16:14.79 and averaged 5:13.8 per mile to finish second overall and first among Seasider runners.  

BYU-Hawaii beat out Hawaii Pacific, Alaska Fairbanks, George Fox and Chaminade to take home the title.
