Third place for Seasider men's team

SURPRISE, Ariz. (April 19, 2014) - The No. 21 BYU-Hawaii men's tennis team beat Point Loma 5-0 to take third place at the Pacific West Conference Tennis Championships on Saturday.

After falling in the semifinals, the Seasiders (13-6) came back to sweep the Sea Lions for the win.

Yevhen Zakharov and Martin Chojnacki won first doubles 8-4, Wei-Feng Lee and Peng Dai earned a tough 8-6 win and Ibrahim Karmadzhe and Taylor De Hoyas won 8-4 to take all three doubles points in an exciting doubles start.

In singles, Lee dispatched his opponent first in No. 3 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 win and Zakharov finished off a 6-4, 6-2 win to win it 5-0 for BYU-Hawaii.
