Seasiders fall to No. 18 Midwestern State 6-3

WICHITA FALLS, Tex. (Mar. 28, 2014) - The No. 22 BYU-Hawaii men's tennis team came up short to No. 18 Midwestern State on Friday afternoon in a 6-3 loss.

The Seasiders took one of the doubles points when the Seasiders 14th ranked pair of Yevhen Zakharov and Martin Chojnacki upset the Mustangs eighth ranked duo of Tomas Grejtak and Ramon Toyos in 8-6 fashion.

In singles, BYU-Hawaii got two more points.

In a battle of nationally ranked singles players in the No. 2 position, BYU-Hawaii's No. 23 ranked Chojnacki edged MSU's 34th ranked Davidson 6-4, 7-6 (7-2).
The Seasiders also claimed No. 4 singles with Wei-Feng Lee beating Chris Norrie 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.
