No. 19 BYU-Hawaii comes up short 6-3 to No. 11 Azusa Pacific

AZUSA, Calif. (Feb. 27, 2014) - THe No. 19 BYU-Hawaii men's tennis team lost a close one 6-3 to No. 11 Azusa Pacific on Thursday.

The Seasiders (4-3) took the No. 1 doubles match and two singles points.

In doubles the No. 17 ranked team of Yevhen Zakharov and Martin Chojnacki won 8-6 at No. 1, but dropped the No. 2 and 3 matches.

Ibrahim Karmadzhe won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 4, while Wei-Feng Lee posted a 0-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory against at No. 3.

BYU-Hawaii will play Fresno Pacific in Azusa on Saturday.
