Men's soccer season preview

LAIE, Hawaii – BYU-Hawaii men's soccer team enters the 2016 season ranked eighth in the PacWest Conference's preseason poll.

Head coach Dan Dümmar hopes to "take the PacWest conference championship this year and surprise a lot of people." In terms of individuals, Dümmar wants them to be "100 percent committed" and wants them to "be one unit."

Dümmar will rely on senior Jake McRae and believe that he is prepared and has worked hard during the off season to have a repeat performance from last season.

Despite lacking experience on his backline, Dümmar has confidence in his three keepers and believes that the new talent will prove to be very important throughout the season.

With 12 returners and 15 new recruits Dümmar still thinks that the chemistry is great and that they are doing very well.
