Men's team looking to continue winning streak

LAIE, Hawaii (Oct. 16, 2013) - The BYU-Hawaii men's soccer team looks to keep its win streak alive when they face Notre Dame de Namur and Fresno Pacific this week.

Thursday at 3 p.m. the Seasiders host Notre Dame de Namur and Saturday Fresno Pacific visits BYU-Hawaii at the same start time on the BYU-Hawaii soccer field.

The Seasiders (4-3-2, 2-2-1) are coming off a back-to-back wins as they beat Dominican 2-1 last Saturday and Dixie State 2-1 the week before. BYU-Hawaii rallied in the final minutes to connect on a penalty kick to beat Dominican in a thrilling last match.

Notre Dame de Namur (5-5-2, 2-2-2) beat Hilo 1-0 last Saturday and tied Hawaii Pacific earlier as it began its Hawaii road swing. Fresno Pacific is tied for first in the conference at 7-3-1 and 5-1 in league play.
