Men's Soccer welcomes Cal State San Bernadino Thursday

LAIE, Hawaii (Sept. 4, 2013) – The BYU Hawaii men's soccer team hosts California State University San Bernardino on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. on the soccer field.

After two preseason wins over Santa Rosa Junior College and Chaminade, BYU-Hawaii is ready to get a game toward a postseason berth.

Cal State San Bernardino finished the 2012 season 5-5-7 and is opening its regular season against the Seasiders.

BYU-Hawaii took down Santa Rosa 1-0 and 4-0 in a doubleheader and blasted Chaminade 9-0 in an offensive spectacle. Seven different players accounted for goals against the Silver Swords, including two apiece from Rich Harrison and Chris Toronto.

The match is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. and is free for all fans. Seasider fans can expect prizes and giveaways throughout the game.
