HILO, Hawaii (Sept. 12, 2013) – The BYU-Hawaii men's soccer team lost 2-0 to the University of Hawaii at Hilo on Thursday afternoon.
In the first half Hilo was able cash in on a penalty kick. The Vulcans were able to score off the kick to take a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute, despite the Seasiders controlling possession for the half.
BYU-Hawaii had four shots in the early first half but had trouble getting them in the net heading into the break. Cam Neeley led the way with two attempts.
In the second half the Vulcans added a goal in 83rd minute.
The Seasiders face Chaminade in Honolulu on Sept. 17 at 12:30 p.m.
