Seasiders take third at East/West Bay Area Invite

LIVERMORE, Calif. – No. 20 BYU-Hawaii men's golf finished in third place at the East/West Bay Area Invite at The Course at Wente Vineyards after Tuesday's final round.

CSU East Bay took the title at 20 over and Holy Names came in second at 28 over par. BYU-Hawaii was five strokes behind the Hawks in third place.

Jacob Godfrey and Federico Clausen tied for sixth, the best place among the Seasiders' team, after finishing at 7 over par. Nicolas Herrera also finished in the top 10 at 9-over 225 to tie for 10th.

Dalton Stanger placed 19th at 13 over par, while Alex Stulce rebounded from a rough first day to post a 4-over 76 in the final round and tie for 45th on the individual board.

BYU-Hawaii will take the course again March 13-14 at the Notre Dame Argonaut Invitational.
