LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Brent Grant extended his lead on the individual board, but No. 14 BYU-Hawaii men's golf fell to second after the second round of the PacWest Championship at Wigwam Golf Course.
The Seasiders finished at 3 over for the day while Dixie State went 4 under to edge the Seasiders for first.
No. 24 Grant shot 3 under par for the second consecutive day to lead all golfers in the field at 6 under. Grant birdied on five holes to continue his great play. Ty Macias of Dominican finished second at two under, while edging Dixie State's Dane Nelson was third at 1 under par.
Dalton Stanger and Federico Clausen both shot 2-over 74 on the day. Stanger dropped down to sixth place tying with California Baptist's Kavan Eubank. Nicholas Herrera shot 3 over par finished tied 18th. Inoka Kahawaii finished 2-over.
