AIEA, Hawaii – Frederico Clausen shot a 2-under-par 70 on the final day of the Chaminade Tri-Match to lead BYU-Hawaii men's golf to its second first place finish on Wednesday at Pearl Country Club.
Clausen finished the 36-hole competition at 3 under par to tie Jarin Harada of Chaminade for first place individually. The Seasiders shot an 11-over 587 as a team to outpace Chaminade by three strokes.
Nicolas Herrera finished fourth out of the 15 golfers with a 1-over 145 over the two days. Inoka Kahawaii shot 4 over, while Riley Bunker and Alex Stulce both finished with an 11-over 155.
BYU-Hawaii will head to the mainland next week for the Sonoma State Invitational beginning on Oct. 13 in Sonoma, California.
