Golfers take first over Chaminade and HPU at Turtle Bay

KAHUKU, Hawaii (Feb. 11, 2014) - The BYU-Hawaii men's golf team picked up its first win of the season today, shooting a 308 to down Chaminade and Hawaii Pacific at Turtle Bay.

The Seasiders combined for a solid 308 to beat out Chaminade's 311 and Hawaii Pacific's 313.

Federico Clausen led the way, with a 3-over-par 75. Mike Klem shot a 76 and Bowen Prestwich was one stroke behind with a 77.

Peder McOmber shot an 80 with Matthew Jensen notching an 82 to round our the scoring for BYU-Hawaii.

The team will visit the Koolau Golf Course next week on Tuesday to see Chaminade and HPU again.
